Alex Quansah was born on Aug. 21, 1983. He grew up in the town of Mankoadze Gomoa West, in Central Region. Alex has brown eyes and has black hair. The Ghanaian is 178 cm tall.

Alex grew up in a family of four. He has a brother and two sisters.

Alex is a huge fan of cycling. On his tenth birthday, his father gave him a bicycle. His enthusiasm kept him from sleeping that night. In 2019, Alex Quansah started road cycling. Before this, Alex gained a lot of experience. Alex likes climbing because climbers are very strong on the road. 

 

Alex trains five times a week and rides the All Star races on Sundays. His goal is to become one of the best riders in Ghana. He continues to try very hard to make his dreams a reality.​

 

At the moment, he is very much looking up to Tadej Pogacar.
