Maxwell Doku is from Ghana-Accra. Maxwell is 30 years old and is 5'6" tall. Currently, the Ghanaian lives alone and also takes care of himself. This is because Maxwell lost his father and mother 10 years ago. 

 

From an early age, Maxwell had a passion for cycling. At the time, his parents did not have the money to buy him a bike. Maxwell bought his first BMX bike at the age of 20. Every time he was training and came across a road bike he tried to make a race of it. 

 

A few years later, Maxwell decided to buy a road bike and joined a cycling club. He met Jacob at the Sea Side Park, where road bikes ride in the sand of the sea. After having a good conversation with Jacob, Maxwell was able to join his team. Every day they were in touch to train together. 

 

In 2018, Maxwell got the opportunity to join Ghana National for cycling. He was selected among the first 6 for the tour of Burkina Faso and the tour of Ivory Coast. He cycled many tough races here, gaining a lot of experience. This was also the moment he started following cyclists around the world and especially Wout van Aert.

 

In 2019, Maxwell met Fenton from the United Kingdom. Fenton gave Maxwell a customized bike and helped him set up training schedules. This resulted in winning the year-end race in 2021.
